Julie Wentz received her bachelor’s at Oregon State University and spent six months in Vienna Austria at the University of Vienna obtaining her International Business degree. Since then, she has had a career with an extensive background in marketing and management in big box retail management, in senior living communities, in technology start-ups. She also has decades of experience in event management. With that background, she jumped in with both feet in February 2020 as the co-founder of Arizona Stands Up! She advocates for Arizonans to STAND UP against the unconstitutional state lockdowns, against mask mandates, and against Governor Ducey’s executive orders that continue to infringe on Arizonans rights Since she started the group, she has been full steam ahead. Here are just a few activities that have been going on in AZ since Feb 2020: • Organizing “mask-free shopping events” to defy mask mandates • Organizing sidewalk rush hour mask-free rallies • Bringing constitutional classes to AZ volunteer base where they learned how to create notices, affidavits and Cease and Desists orders that were then served them on the governor and sheriffs; Julie’s goal at all times is to help people.
