BULLSHIT! Sure it did…they just called it dementia, or senility. Plenty of people are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s who have never taken cholesterol meds. Just because it wasn’t defined doesn’t mean it didn’t exist.

1890 plenty of people died of “Consumption”. When was the last time you heard of that? As science developed and they identified a name for the disease that caused the death, the word consumption disappeared.
